A Family Reunion in Daytona Beach
Dear Friends & Fellow Travelers,
This issue of TraveLiving was written in Daytona Beach, Seattle, & Los Angeles... Yes, we are back in the States and off to a fast start!
Wow! What a whirlwind of a month August was! It's started the morning we had planned to leave Bocas del Toro, Panama when Jon-Jon fell out of the kids clubhouse and cracked his wrist. Luckily we were able to secure him a waterproof cast in San Jose, Costa Rica for our planned trip to Daytona Beach the next day.
After swimming and relaxing with Chris & Calvin (our two eldest boys) and Kathryn's mother for more than a week, the younger boys and I headed to Seattle to meet Kathryn for yet another week of work and play. And then this past weekend Kathryn filled rooms at Agape in Los Angeles for her workshops on love and relationships. In a few days we're headed to Monterey to visit Calvin in college.
We're really doing it! We're living the Portable Life. And you can too. Read on for little Julian's take on traveling "For More than Half of One's Life" and an introduction to "Burning Man: Structured Freedom".
Abundant Travels,
Jon & Kathryn
