Family Halloween

One of These Things Is not like the Other...

Dear Friends & Fellow Travelers,

Hello again from sunny Palm Springs! After watching the daytime temperature drop by more than 20°F almost overnight, attending both a family wedding & funeral, as well as enjoying an exciting Halloween where our family all dressed up as Scooby Doo characters (except for Batman standing-in for Daphne), we still can't seem to quit this place.

And so for now, we have moved down the road and have settled happily into a private 3-bedroom villa where we keep the pool heated to 90°F. Ahhhh...

But next week, we're headed to the East Coast to celebrate with even more family including visitors from the United Kingdom. It's especially exciting because it will be our first Thanksgiving in the States since we first began this trip more than 3 years ago! We all hope you have a great Holiday, too!

If you're ready to get serious about a portable lifestyle, read on to find a free & easy way to boost sales.

Take care and if you haven't already, check out our new website! www.theportablelifestyle.com

Web Presence & FREE Money

Google searchAn easy and free way to boost your sales is to increase your web presence. Web presence is self-explanatory and includes articles you've written that are posted on the Internet, all of your products sold by other websites (like Kathryn's use of Amazon) and links to your website. Plus mentions in others' articles and any guest contributions you may have made.

Hundreds of websites link to ours and recommend our products and we've done countless interviews that come up when you Google our names or our company names. Web presence ensures that when people are browsing the Internet, they come up with you. It works on your behalf when you're out playing, and it's great fun to come home and see sales have come in without your lifting a finger. Your web presence is almost completely free (unless you advertise). Here are some suggestions to quickly up your web presence and hence, your sales.

1.  Post an article or two on freeezinearticles.com.

2.  Make sure you've got both Facebook & Twitter accounts for your business and send out tips regularly, post specials and build a following.

3.  Free Craigslist ads quickly come up in a search. Several highly successful virtual companies make millions from running ONLY Craigslist campaigns.

4.  Solicit interviews with Bloggers and websites in your field. One mention in a major publication or writing a guest article can lead to thousands of clicks on your site.

Make it a goal to regularly spend time on your web presence. It's the gift that keeps on giving!

What to Look for in a Vacation Rental

lazy riverWith the holidays approaching, many people have plans to visit family or take off to exotic locations. Or maybe you are starting your own portable lifestyle and want to make the most of your time away from home.

Whatever your situation, there are a few things that should be considered before booking lodging in an unfamiliar place.

1.  Is it the right size and does it have all the amenities you want?
We now know that 2 bathrooms are essential for us as well as a swimming pool and full size kitchen. It's easy to be tempted by charming designs and cheaper rates, but if you end up feeling crowded or unable to fulfill your need to be able to roll out of bed and right into the water, you will most likely end up disappointed.

2.  Is the location appropriate for what you plan to do with your time?
Sometimes we've looked at dozens of properties before settling into one. Perhaps there's a place that is right next to the action allowing you to forgo a rental car, but beware that sometimes the action lasts all night long and sleep may be the thing you end up going without. Or, maybe you find a place with an awesome view, but getting to and from it is like pulling teeth.

3.  Is it stocked with what you expect? What do you really need at your fingertips?
We appreciate having a full refrigerator, a stove, an oven, and a microwave wherever we go because our kids are quite picky eaters. Plus, when we stay weeks or even months at a time, home cooking can be quite comforting (and thrifty). We also require a decent Internet connection, the ability to place phone calls, and a telephone book. While we have learned to live with less, we have also learned the little things that "add so much" time and time again.

Find out more on what to look for, what to avoid, and how to maximize your positive experience while minimizing the expense AND headache in our Portable Lifestyle Primer. We've been "traveliving" for 3 years and you can too!

Get detailed information on specific long-term international getaways where you can live a luxury resort existence for less money than you would spend at home PLUS all of the details to make these stays easy and fun in our Portable Lifestyle Insider's Guide.

Whatever it is you want, do your homework and things will flow that much easier.

CHOOSE Your Life Using Deliberate Creation

Deliberate Creation ProgramYou may have enjoyed Kathryn's work before and in January & February of 2010, she revealed the underpinnings of it - the process that makes it so effective - for the very first time in a 4-week telecourse. This telecourse sold out within a few days, and many were unable to get in.

Since then we have been overloaded with messages both from attendees who have been successfully creating all year and from those who were unable to attend yet are dying to do this work. We really want 2011 to be YOUR YEAR and are willing to do what it takes to shepherd you into deliberately creating what YOU want.

Now is your opportunity. In early December, we will be releasing this in-depth program as a downloadable product giving YOU a unique opportunity for BIG change.

One thing that this work entails is leaving the KNOWN, whether it's the limits of the world (like a seeming housing market or imperfect credit) or it's the limits you have internally that have held you back from your good. Nothing will have the power to hold you back as you do this work.

The most revolutionary part of this program is that it includes a GAME, the format a FUN, easy way to manifest! The name of the game: Goals Gone Wild! It is an enjoyable, light way to MANIFEST beyond anything you've known before. Work through the game as you work through the program. We have been astounded at how far beyond their limits people have gone with this game.

The results, which tell the tale, have been unbelievable! Find out more and pre-order the Deliberate Creation Program NOW to make 2011 the best year ever!
